What the app and this site are

The app is a reading practice tool: flashcards that show a word and a sentence and read them aloud. This website is a reference for parents and teachers. The word lists here are reproduced from published sources named on each page.

What they are not

Neither the app nor this site assesses a child's reading, diagnoses a learning difficulty, or replaces a teacher. Schools choose their own word lists, so check with your child's teacher which words they are expected to know.

Purchases and payment

Paid features, if offered, are billed by Apple through your App Store account and can be managed in your App Store settings.
